So what are you going to do? There’s a ton of great stuff and since its Spring break (for many of you) why not do something right away!

There are a ton of walking/biking paths in Rochester. I found this site, trail.com that has a listing of some great places for walking.

Here are some books you can check out that show some options for walking and biking all available at libraries throughout Monroe County.

Learn about the canal’s mechanical structures; travel on a hire boat; visit charming canalside communities including Lockport, Baldwinsville, Fairport, Waterford and Little Falls; and tour attractions in Syracuse, Rochester, and, of course, Albany and Buffalo. Whether traveling by boat, car, bicycle, or simply walking on canalside trails, the Erie is one of America’s great waterways.

Walking along the Erie Canal is pretty cool. There are also some neat nature centers in Rochester.

Don’t want to go for a walk? Why not help your family (or a friend’s family) plant flowers or trees. Don’t want to plant? Why not weed! Even that doesn’t interest you? How about picking up the trash in your area. Okay, so that might be gross, but it will look SO much better

What will you do?
